The weather was spectacular and not too hot for the 2017 Unionville Festival Parade. There were a lot of kids in the audience, and were well behaved.

The organizers put us at a number at the back of the parade, but we eventually started in the middle. As the parade went on we, doing our usual greeting and shaking of hands, eventually drifted to the end. Tired we were, but happy. The parade was not too long, with ample opportunity for the kids to see everything. There were not one but two traditional Chinese music bands, and no traditional marching bands, which was interesting.
