Scarborough Celebrates Ontario 150 Festival, 2017 July 15 at Albert Campbell Square, 13:00-16:00, was a great success. The weather was sunny and 26 degrees but not too hot and not too cold, not too windy. There were lots of kids, but we could have done with more. Lots of vendors showed up. Our group of clowns did balloons, bubbles, stickers, magic, singing and ukelele playin. It was a lot of fun. This year we did a lot of walking around and talking with the kids, wherever they might have been.
A big thanks goes out to the Heritage Skills Development Centre (HSDC) for their efforts in organizing the event. Happy 150th year, Canada!
